Amelia at Westshore Apartments

Amelia is the BEST apartment complex ever! Best decision I have ever made! The staff is the best people ever with their continuous love and support. They are so helpful! I love amelia!

where do I begin? id like to publicly say that MANAGER Flerida is the worst manager in tampa! after months of noise complaints about our upstairs neighbors screaming, fighting, cursing and banging(no joke, not normal everyday noise) through the night into the morning- and being threatened by the noisy neighbors ( who broke my gas cap), absolutely nothing was done to solve the issue. Adam on the other hand was fantastic, he always tried to solve any issues with poise.


After over a year of... living at the Jefferson noise issues were never handled, especially if it was during quiet hours... Although when we listened to music at a normal level in the middle of the day(4pm), Flerida had no problem coming to our apartment to tell us to be quiet. Ive lived all over the world and never dealt with a manger with such double standards! extremely disappointed with the Jefferson. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY CONSTANT ISSUES.

When I first got to Tampa I was in need for an apartment to live in. I moved here because it looks nice on the outside and very friendly people that work in the office. Once I moved in I realized how bad it was, but I was stuck in a lease. I lived by the road and every time a semi truck drove by it felt like we were getting an earthquake. I am a very clean person and no matter what I did there were ants all over and big roaches throughout the building. Furthermore, the pool was supposed to... be heated, but it was ice cold until deep in the summer. When my lease came up for renewal I had to sign another one while I was getting everything ready to move. My rent went up $300 after the first years. They charge $40 a month for a mandatory trash service that you have to use. Oh and don't leave your trash can out over night because they will charge you $25 fee for that. They will fine you if your valet trash is touching the floor. They will tow your car if you're double parked in one of their tiny parking spaces or accidentally parked in one of the "reserved" spaces popping up randomly now and again. They charge $75 to replace your gate clicker, a clicker they probably pay no more than $15 for. If you call them to ask them to fix something they're fairly responsive but they won't do it if its "cosmetic." Worst part, most of these units, for the exception of the... ones with southern exposures, get very little sunlight. It's perpetual dark in my one-bedroom even at high noon. Silverfish are another problem. If you have someone living above you with heavy feet, you're likely to hear them walking around. The laminate floors are not good at insulating sound.
