Avoid renting under new management
Huge Decline Since New Management Took Over
My family moved out shortly after the new management took over because the property changed for the worse. The previous management actually maintained the building and seemed to care about the residents. The current management has been a major downgrade in my experience.
The building’s only elevator is constantly in and out of service, and getting maintenance completed is like pulling teeth. The property no longer feels well cared for. The lobby now... has a noticeable musty, mold-like smell, and the common areas look neglected compared to how they used to.
If you decide to rent here, document absolutely everything. Save your lease, payment records, maintenance requests, emails, and take photos of your apartment before and after moving out. Based on my experience, I would not rely on management to handle disputes fairly without a complete paper trail.
I also found it concerning that the property’s Google reviews disappeared. That did not inspire confidence.
Another thing that concerned me was some of the tenant approval decisions made under the current management. They left me questioning whether resident safety and good judgment are priorities.
Overall, I cannot recommend this property anymore. It used to be a decent place to live, but since the management changed, the quality of the property and the professionalism of the management have noticeably declined. There are much better apartment communities in the area that are worth your time and money.
