The Summit of Athens

At first, everything seems really nice. When you take a closer look, you realize that everything is actually really old, damaged, and/or falling apart. That goes for the clubhouse, grounds, amenities, and the apartment itself. Unfortunately, every month has brought a problem. During my first month, our AC broke (in July), and I had to sleep on the couch for 3 nights before they could finally fix it because it was so hot in my room (it got up to a toasty 81 degrees). During the second month,… which was hurricane season, our roof started leaking, and it took almost a week to fix. During the third month, our fridge stopped working, and all of our food spoiled and we had to throw everything out (groceries are expensive and we had to live on canned food for several days!). During the fourth month, the pedal flew off the elliptical while I was using it, and I almost got seriously hurt (also none of the treadmills work). During the fifth month- and this is the worst that has happened so far- someone stole my jacket right in front of the security cameras. The police told me to contact the apartment complex, but they never called me back or responded to my messages online. During the sixth month, our fidge started leaking. They never came. It's the seventh month now, and our fridge is leaking again. Even when maintenance comes, they leave dirt and leaves all over our floors and carpets and bathrooms. Also, there are cockroaches, despite us having them spray our apartment, buying my own $15 can of roach spray and spraying way more than you're supposed to, and keeping our apartment very clean. We love our Summit townhouse! Spacious three bedrooms in a two story unit. Tastefully furnished and perfect price for any student or young adult! Gorgeous pool as well to enjoy the hot Georgia summers. Love our apartment!
