Hello, thank you for your review. We do apologize about the pool closure. We had sent out an email prior to the renovations to notify residents that the pool was going to be closing before scheduled time due to the fitness center and pool upgrades.

Above and beyond
When I needed to urgently move into my apartment for personal reasons three months, Tiffany at Atlantic Brookhaven went above and beyond to make that happen and make me feel welcome. I was able to move into one of the newly renovated units, which is clean and bright, pest free (still after three months) and has no major problems. When my AC unit did not work the first day it got hot, I submitted a service request, and when I came home from work that day, the unit was fixed and the service... receipt was on my kitchen counter, all taken care of. The location is great: near I-85, within walking distance to grocery stores and MARTA bus stops. And this past weekend, when a new resident arrived unexpectedly to move in over the holiday weekend, management came to help him move in despite it being their day off. I truly believe that there are good people out there, and if people choose they can give the best of themselves to serve those who are in their care. Thank you Atlantic Brookhaven.

Horrible Experience.
Horrible. Walls are extremely THIN. washer, dryer and dishwasher were all broken & maintenance NEVER came to fix it. Only good thing is it being very close to the grocery store. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

My wife’s company has experience working with apartment management teams for clients. When her parents moved here while recovering from some medical issues, we were grateful for it’s proximity to her mom’s daycare. The unit had nice bathrooms and kitchens. The location is conveniently close to Buford Hwy restaurants and stores. However, when a plumbing leak flooded their unit, they were treated combatively. Customer service was poor and response was slow. The complex did not replace the carpet... or padding. They air dried it for a week & a half while my in-laws stayed in a hotel. The office also passed the $300 extra electric charges from the blowers to my in-laws. They then charged other fees. The carpet still had a slight mildew smell. The pool was attractive, but closed the entire summer only to open in September.

Leaving and never coming back!
Things were good at first. After moving in I had roaches and they didn't not go away after multiple sprays. Only after multiple people in my building moved out. There were multiple car break ins during my lease. On move in I was supposed to have an upgraded apartment but my dish washer was not secured and almost fell on my leg, electrical outlets did not work and my bathroom tub was painted as a result it is hard to clean( the paint just comes off ). I could deal with it UNTIL the management... changed. Be aware they do not give ANY notice around your lease ending then will charge you to finish out the 60 day requirement. They NICKLE and DIME you! It is not worth the price. Try your luck somewhere else.

While we do offer... weekly pest control services it can be difficult to completely eradicate pests from a building if there is an ongoing and untreated issue in one of the units. However we work diligently to maintain a clean community that residents can be proud to call home. I'm sorry to hear that you experienced maintenance issues; I understand how frustrating it can be when something in your home isn't working as it should. Our maintenance team works hard to address any concerns brought to their attention in a timely and efficient manner. To address your other concern, we provide all residents with renewal notices 90 days prior to renewal. Please feel free to contact our management team directly with any other concerns you may have - we value your opinion as a previous resident and welcome any additional feedback that may help us improve resident experience.
