During the two years I lived here, the property went through three or four different management companies, which made communication and consistency difficult.
The quality of the units was disappointing. The walls appeared to be coated with little more than primer or heavily watered-down paint, making them extremely easy to damage. The flooring began peeling up within about six months of moving in. Multiple maintenance requests were submitted, but the issues were never properly addressed... .
Billing was also frustrating. Utility charges were posted inconsistently, often appearing weeks or months later. The same was true for the HOA fees, which seemed to be added at random. There were several occasions when multiple charges were posted at once, resulting in unexpectedly large monthly bills.
One of the biggest surprises was the utility cost. After moving into a house that is approximately 500 square feet larger, my monthly utility bills are now about half of what they were at this property. While every home is different, that comparison raised serious questions about the efficiency of the units and the utility billing practices.
The community itself had several drawbacks. There was no private yard space, and during the first year the lawn service routinely mowed at 7:00 a.m. on Saturdays. A new lawn care provider took over later, but the quality of the work declined significantly. Additionally, the street is very narrow, which contributed to our vehicle being struck by a neighbor.
Overall, the property suffered from poor maintenance, inconsistent management, questionable billing practices, and declining upkeep.
