Sunabella Senior Living

John-Wesley Villas of Savannah was acquired by Mainstay in December 2021 and renamed Sunabella Senior Living. I cannot recommend Sunabella Senior Living. Many John-Wesley Villas staff have left. The hours that Sunabella staff is available have been decreased; there is no security; there is no maintenance person on staff; transportation to appointments has been decreased from four days to three days; and a nurse is only available one day a week for a few hours. The food portions are too small and… the meal choices have decreased; thus, the meals may not meet the dietary needs of the residents. No food from the kitchen is available after 6:30 PM, and residents have stated that they are not getting enough to eat. Finally, I am not convinced that there is no fire safety violation and will look into this further.
