One Eleven South

i have lived at 111 South Apartments since May of 2014. I live in an unfurnished, 4 bedroom apartment. I pay $409 per month to have only one room unlocked and access to the living/kitchen areas. Recently my only roommate and I went through a rough patch. She ended up moving out, and as I did not wish to reside alone in such a large apartment, I told the office my situation and that I wished to be transferred or terminate my lease. I was told that transferring was not an option (even though they… had allowed my former roommate to do so) and that in order to terminate my lease I would have to pay $300 and also find someone to take over my current lease. Typically, it is either pay or find a sub letter. However, I was informed that if I did not do both and still chose to move out, my credit would be ruined. Nice, clean, affordable, with lots of amenities! !!

I absolutely hated my time at One11. The staff is rude, the construction is cheap, and goodness forbid you need service on your room. The parking lot is horrid for guests, and the gate is a complete inconvenience for anyone who doesn't live there (guests coming in, food deliveries, etc). They claim to be pet friendly, but the deposit is expensive and you can't get it back if your pet doesn't make a mess and there isn't an area for dogs to run. They're extremely strict about pets being on leashes… as well. I don't recommend this apartment for anyone with a dog over 25lbs and you cannot have anything beyond a cat, dog or fish in a 5gallon or smaller tank. Ridiculous! Read More
