I had no issues for the last 2.5 years and considered staying here for a long time. However, the property manager changed a month ago, and I am already having issues. I have a package that went missing. I asked him if he could send a mass text in case someone accidentally took it. He refused until I talked to USPS, who has it scanned as delivered. I explained my desire to be proactive, to which he still refused. During this conversation, he sent me a shrug emoji. I could pay less money somewhere... else for the same apathetic service.

Not worth your money.
We've lived here for nearly 2 years an when we first moved in, it seemed like they cared about who moved in an what happened in the buildings, lately as long as they can pay rent you can come in, noise complaints aren't taken seriously, they don't care about how the property looks anymore the lawns not kept up anymore they don't enforce the pet policy about picking up after your animals. Felt like it was a safe place to live originally, tenants have taken decorative bricks that separated the... rocks from the grass to prop the LOCKED door open that should close because you know its a "secure" building, I could go on for days but I bet you get it an thats also not to even start on just how shady Rent Cedar Valley is. Anyway save your money an rent else where.

Grand Crossing Apartments
I live at the Grand Crossing Apartments in Waterloo and the 5 months I have been here have been horrible. They are very difficult to work with, including not returning calls to me. In our "safe" building I have had a package and a bicycle stolen from me and they refuse to do anything about it. Including saying they did not have working cameras until the night it was stolen. WEIRD!! Save your money and do not rent from this company. They are awful!!! For the price I pay and thinking that this was... a secure place, I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a place to live in Waterloo. The apartments look nice but these people do not care about their residents!! Do not rent from them
