I found Heaven!

Who said senior apartments were for old people? These sure aren't.. Affinity at Boise is a premier Senior Apartment complex in Boise Idaho. They have so many things to do, it takes a legal sized piece of paper to list the monthly activities by the day.. Honest! And the amenities, OH MY GOODNESS! let me list just a few... Indoor Salt water pool, hot tub, Pool room, Dilly's PUB! Library, computer room, Billiards room, Workshop, Craft room..beauty shop, our own Theater! and the list goes… on.. and I haven't even mentioned the apartment yet.. mine is simply amazing.. I walked into this place, and knew I was home.. beautifully well appointed, each unit has a spacious kitchen, it's own washer and dryer. with this apartment complex only 3 years old, it still feels new.. and the management team are simply wonderful.. I thought when I sold my home, that I would never find another place that felt like I belonged.. until I found Affinity.. now I am HOME at last..

Affinity of Boise

I was excited about renting this apartment because of its advertisements of being a community for people who are ready for a carefree lifestyle (it is a 55 complex). The complex actually turned out to not be exactly how it was advertised. I think in an effort to "fill up" the complex and avoid discrimination of the elderly community it turned into a limited lifestyle that catered to those who did not and could not live an active lifestyle. Those of us who are actually truly capable of living… an active lifestyle are in the minority. The building and complex is very nice and the management does an excellent job in keeping it clean and beautiful. However, it would probably be more beneficial for potential renters to know and understand that it not geared to the "young at heart". It would be an excellent choice for those who are still independent enough to live on their own and not yet ready for assisted living.
