:/

I only stayed at the Abri for one semester. The managers were extremely slow at responding to important questions, mantinence requests are slow, they charged my account continuously after I had already payed rent in full, they made my roommate send her therapy cat home for no apparent reason and the reasons I left go on and on. I would not recommend the Abri. It is way too expensive for a poor quality housing unit.

Never again

I spent 2 semesters at Abri. The main reason I stayed there was the fact that it was close to my work, not because of the apartments.

Pro's-
The maintenance requests are fixed really quickly, usually within hours of submitting the request. The management is always really helpful and accessible.

Cons-
I think that for the quality, and compared to other Rexburg apartment prices, they are very overpriced. On top of the high prices, parking is not free, $50 for a normal spot and $25 for the...
stupidest thing called "tandem parking" where one car blocks another from getting out. I know a lot of places charge for parking, but the parking here is ridiculous. The parking spaces in general are really really tight, and in my first semester, I saw a lot of hit and runs happen in the parking lot.

My biggest complaint is that the sound control is non-existent. The walls are incredibly PAPER THIN and it felt like anyone outside of my room was actually inside because of how well the sound travels. It was miserable and my biggest frustration. You can also hear everyone in the hallways of the building because the floors are not carpeted, and it echos like crazy. I lived on the complete opposite side of the building of the elevators and we could here people using the elevators ALL THE TIME. the elevator was pretty far from my apartment.

My 1st semester there I lived in a town home, and that was a HUGE mistake. the second fridge is an after thought, and it's upstairs while the kitchen is downstairs. Who wants to run up and down the stair each time they cook?

In the town homes the rooms are terribly spaced. The apartment I was in had 3 rooms. One was GIANT, one was average sized, and one was so small that management had to put one of the students desks in the hallway. And don't get me started on the uneven closest sizes. In the small room, they had literally half the closest space as the other rooms. They had to pay the exact same price as all the other girls, even though they were completely jipped.

If you're living in Abri, do not get a town home.

Also, if you don't have a car and have to walk to campus, this is not the ideal apartment for you. Especially when it is cold and windy.

Because I am a local, I would actually go home for weeks at a time because I needed sleep, and the constant sound/the terribly hard beds made that impossible. I would not live here ever again, I know there are much better places that are cheaper.

Don't fall for it.

I got fined $50 after I checked out because one of my roommates left stuff behind. There was nothing I could do to change it. This place will scam you.
