There is a noise level monitor in the living room. Loitering in the lobby before or after your reservation will result in a $200 fine. If you knock on the wrong door or enter the wrong building and disturb other tenants, you will be subject to a $200 fine. There is a maximum of 2 guests, which will be strictly enforced. Due to City of Chicago regulations, between October and April, the building's system is set to heat only and doesn’t switch back to cold air until May. The system is set to cold air between May and September. All units have both a standing fan and a space heater in a closet, and windows can be opened for fresh air. Unapproved late check-out or unapproved early check-in will result in a charge of $100 per hour after or before the scheduled check-out or check-in time, respectively. Smoking inside or outside on the patio/balcony, parking lot or within 50ft of the property is strictly prohibited, as this is a smoke-free community. Any smell noticed by cleaners, and/or any physical evidence of smoking any substance will result in a fine of $500. Any pet brought to the property without being declared during the reservation process will be considered unauthorized, and a fee of $200 will be charged for any evidence found of an unauthorized pet. Parties and events are strictly prohibited, and any evidence of a party or event will result in a fine of $500, plus the cost of any extra cleaning or damages that result from the event. Noise detection monitors are present. Moving of furniture isn't allowed, especially on the balcony, and violation of this will result in a $100 fine. Tampering with noise detectors or cameras (including removing them from their mounts) is strictly prohibited, and a $150 violation fee will apply. Guests are prohibited from obstructing or tampering with exterior cameras, and the second offense will result in cancellation without a refund. Windows in the property only open a few inches for safety purposes, and please ensure windows are not forced open beyond the designated limit. Per the listing and ownership rules, quiet hours are between 10pm and 6am, and repeated violations will result in cancellation of your reservation with no refund. Guests must let us know at the time of booking if additional visitors will arrive during the stay or reservation will be cancelled.
