    Questionable Structure

    I live in a 1bd, and although the living room and bedroom are nice, the walls/floors/ceilings in this building are questionable to say the least. There is a part of my apartment which physically slopes down a noticeable amount, and in fact, I've noticed the entire apartment is actually slightly uneven. The sound bleed from doors and walls/ceiling are immense; I can hear people talking upstairs/ watching tv through the ceiling often over my own conversations/ tv (same goes for next door). The… elevators are concerningly broken (no buttons light, it goes up instead of down, the doors will shutter, etc). I have found only a small portion of the apartment that doesn't squeak when even I walk (I'm only 120lbs). The electrical is a danger, several switches and outlets have sparked or simply no longer work. THE BEST: there is a fist-sized hole above my shower, and maintenance shrugged it off saying "they fill it when you move out anyways," so for going on 6mos now drywall and water from upstairs (and rain) have been leaking into my shower. Icing: the kitchen has space, but it is closed off meaning it is walled in with no access to natural light and it gets HOT and LOUD; and the gas stove is "iffy" to say the least.
