Beautiful Building Packed with Perks

While on a temporary assignment in Chicago I had a chance to look at Lawrence Lofts thinking that I might be based there. I had a great tour with the on site manager and many things stood out: in-unit washer and dryers (no more awkward small talk while guarding your laundry), a game room with a pool table and a great gym (to justify all that take out), and a rooftop deck.

I also liked that it was one block from the Lawrence Red Line station.

Unfortunately I was transferred to a different… city when my time was up but will keep it in mind if I get back to Chicago.

Very Unprofessional

I booked a tour exactly one month in advance, immediately upon calling to book the tour the women made it sound like booking the tour was a chore for her on the phone. A month goes by and we show up for the tour at the specified time and no one comes out.. so I call the building and the women answers and says there was a "emergency" and no one would be in the building till 4 days later. We found it very unprofessional that no one bothered to reach out to let us know they were going to cancel the… tour. Which was disappointing because we are from out of town. Would not recommend trying to visit this place unless you want a unprofessional and low customer service experience .
