Horrible Building and Company
Kass Management is absolutely horrible. I took over a lease in the Montauk, and have regretted it since the day I moved in.
The building is a frat house. There is constantly broken glass, garbage and food in the foyer, the elevator is slow and feels broken, the "dog park" on the roof constantly has dog poop in it left by other tenants, carpet in the hallways is filthy and the walls have chipped paint and holes.
The property manager, Matija, is rude and doesn't look after the property at all.... My complaints have gone completely unaddressed, and when I tried to move out because I was unsatisfied, I was told that the owners weren't willing to let me out of my lease. Really? If you're not willing to uphold your end of the lease (i.e. maintaining the building in a clean, safe standard and providing me with my right to quiet enjoyment) then why do I have to uphold my end?
Do not ever do business with Kass Management!
