Charged for damage they couldn't even explain
I recently transferred units within this building and was hit with a $475 flooring charge for my previous unit. When I disputed it, management admitted in writing that they were "not certain" what caused the damage, yet refused to drop the charge. No proof, no cause, just a bill.
To make it worse, the new unit I moved into had flooring issues within the first week, and my kitchen countertop still hasn't been fixed despite multiple requests. Maintenance came by and only addressed one thing while... leaving the rest unresolved.
Throughout this process, the communication went in circles with no real accountability. I've decided to pay the charge just to move on, but I will absolutely not be renewing my lease. If you're considering living here, be very thorough at move-in, document everything with photos and timestamps, and get everything in writing ,because you may need it later.
