    Terrible Management

My mom has lived in Paul G Stewart Senior Center for over 2 years. I want my mom to be and feel safe in her home. I have security and safety concerns about the building. Security is lapse. I see people coming in and out of the building through dock doors, sometimes leaving them unlocked for others to walk through the building. It took a month for her bathroom faucet to be fixed. The carpet is dirty and needs to be replaced since black tape is holding it together in places. Hall lights have bugs inside the cover. Interior dock area is nasty, stinks, dirty and is located by the elevators. Exterior dock area with dumpsters is nasty. What's that stuff on the ground? Is that a health issue? My mom can no longer go to the store through the building but has to walk outside in the elements to the store, what an inconvenience. Handicap door opener is broken on a regular basis and a regular handle is on the door. How can a person in a wheelchair, 1st responders, walkers and others get into the building without help? I had parked on King Dr and was going to my car one night after visiting my mother, as I turned the corner, there was a man hiding under the dark scaffolding. That was a scary experience. It seems like management doesn't know half of the stuff that goes on in and around this building or they don't care. Unless there are some drastic changes, I'm looking for another place for my mom.
