Questionable Policies but Overall Good Apartment

Reside 707 is a nice property. There is a gym, indoor pool, package service, etc. And a bonus is that it is actually a nice apartment complex that allows dogs. Updated appliances. One BIG problem, management is not transparent about parking availability. Spaces are small and you are put on a wait list, which was not made clear to me prior to move-in. Street parking is hard to come by and unreliable so having to park in a garage five blocks away is inconvenient when you were under the impression… you would be parking in the garage attached to the building.

Good space, great location

Reside, on the whole, rakes it's renters over the coals in terms of additional costs. $180/month for covered parking!? $75 to have an extra set of keys made!? Give me a break! BUT, I will say this: I love our apartment. It's got a large living space, the kitchen and bathrooms have newer appliances and fixtures, and the location is IDEAL. Just north of Boystown, and just south of Uptown, you avoid the Big Ten crowd in Wrigleyville but still get all the benefits of living in Lakeview: 15-20 minute… commute to downtown, 10 minute walk to the lake, lots of grocery stores and great restaurants within walking distance, etc. The property itself is ALWAYS clean (kudos to the maintenance and housekeeping staffs!) and on site gym and pool are pretty awesome, too. The rent is high, but welcome to the North Side of Chicago, right? I'd definitely recommend our property to those who can afford it.
