The Gardens on Prairie Rose

My experience at Prairie Rose was great. They do a great job of maintaining the grounds. The location is nice too. Far enough from Rockford to feel like a smaller town. You’re within easy driving distance of downtown Beloit which is beginning to show signs of revitalization and a fair few restaurants have opened. Overall great place to live.

It's a beautiful place to live! The office is very caring. Always enough parking. Walking distance to fun stores and restaurants.

Your home is the one place you can feel like you. My apartment complex is beautiful, safe and dependable. Being single and on my own each of those qualities are of equal importance. The staff here goes above and beyond in making their residence welcomed, appreciated and keeps all aspects of the property exceptionally maintained, allowing me to have a carefree environment knowing if there is ever a problem by the time I'm home from work it will be resolved.
One winter we had a terrible snow storm… and I received a call from the staff asking if they could come by to check my basement for water. One of the four units in the building had a leak. When the staff saw my basement was fine they let me know but also told me I needed a new water heater- something I was completely unaware of. That day we had nearly a foot of snow fall just in the afternoon yet before 4:00 pm the maintenance crew was back at my apartment with a brand new water heater and had it installed in no time at all!
This is just one of the countless times I have been impressed by the way this complex is managed while still maintaining a personal level of kindness and appreciation towards their residents.
It's no wonder when people move into our community here at The Gardens on Prairie Rose they stay! I am going on my eighth year here and many of my neighbors, whom I've come to know, have been here much if not all of the time I have. So if you're ever looking for an apartment to call "Home" there is no other place I would refer anyone to. From hosting annual pool parties and community garage sales to being able to have the staff check to see if I've left my iron on while I'm at work, they do it all! Meanwhile, I get to enjoy all of the amenities of my home in a quiet and peaceful place where I have accidentally left my keys in my front door over night only to find them the next morning thinking to myself, "It's a good thing you live here or this may have been a disaster"! These are nice places that are well maintained.

The rent is a little high but I like that because it keeps out the riff-raff.

There is a large grocery store, Walgreens, CVS, Family video, dining, and hair care all within 5 minute (or less) walking distance.

People here generally keep to themselves and respect each others privacy.
