My roommate and I moved into a 2nd floor apartment here in 2020 and there were red flags flying even before moving in. The original apartment we had rented flooded two days before we moved in. The apartment manager transferred us to a slightly smaller rental, but didn't adjust the price. We never had any problems with our neighbors. Yes, the walls are thin, but have you ever heard of an apartment without thin walls?
When it was time for us to renew the lease in 2021, there were multiple issues… with the property manager signing their half of the lease. It took roughly a month for the signatures to be completed and we were charged a fine since our lease "wasn't completed." The office staff was constantly rotating and it felt like no one was ever fully trained, though they now have a different company managing the property, so maybe that's changed.
The appliances are very old, the stove and dishwasher were easily 35 years old.
The parking lot provided the biggest challenge due to the pot holes and the poorly-fixed pot holes, so make sure your car's suspension is in top shape.
When we had finally had enough of this neglect and disrespect, we were sent the incorrect paperwork for filing our move-out notice and we were not made aware of this until a few days before the deadline.
This is just the tip of the iceberg regarding our experience at Prairie View. You will not be getting your money's worth if you rent here and will leave feeling jaded and swindled. Read More

rude management, buildings are poorly maintained old construction with God knows how many layers of paint over each other on everything, prices are way too high for the actually quality and if anything goes wrong youre basically on your own

Simply put the amenities and prices are not represented accurately. The park is not there. It's a sand pit where a playground use to be and 1 apocalyptic swing that seems like it came off the set of terminator 2 judgemnt day no other parks in walking distance. To top that off I asked Dave "what happen to your park" with a serious look he said "what do you mean what happen to our park" I'm like ITS NOT THERE. Then he had the guts to act surprised. Now on to the pool. They have been "working on it… for 2+ years now. I could or dug a new one with a soup spoon by now. It's not getting fixed and I doubt they are going to. Let's move on to the gym. Weights layed about equipment twisted around It's a mess. The hours are useless if you work a day job with the gym only open from 8-5. Maintenance work request and slow to respond. It's been over 3 months with our issue and have not heard anything from any one. Lastly price. It's already a bit pricey for the apartments in the area but on top of rent you are charged extra for pet, water, and forced internet witch can total over a extra 100 to 150. In short the apartments are liveable, but not for the price. I staff have a bit of a attitude before hearing you out. In conclusion the lack of honesty and transparency is what does it for me. Don't advertise a beautiful park, pool and community if it's not true any more. The price of rent should be reflected with the added amenities in witch you have no choice in getting. They should lower rent and treat you better if they have no intention giving you what your paying for. Read More
