Don't waste your money

Ceiling leak & never patched the hole it left, stains unpainted in the kitchen, hallway, bedroom from the leak, ethernet not wired for upstair units just had covers over them, AC awful for upstairs

Great value and convenient location!

I chose a townhome with vinyl plank flooring as a nice upgrade to carpet. I love the vaulted ceilings and the fact that no one lives above me. The walls are painted a nice shade of gray and it feels so much more like a house than an apartment/townhome. My neighbors have been very nice and I very rarely hear any noise/sounds from adjacent townhomes. The community is right on a leg of Franklin's greenway trail system too.

Leaks, Crickets, and Spiders Oh My!

My wife and I moved to Franklin because it's in between our two daily destinations—she goes to Indianapolis, and I go to Columbus. We looked around at several apartments in town, but we ended up selecting Traditions Townhomes because of their vicinity to the interstate and, what we were told to be, reasonably quality. As our time at Traditions wore on, though, we discovered their quality left a lot to be desired. First and maybe foremost, our apartment has always been overrun with various bugs.… Primarily spiders. Spiders, on multiple occasions, fell off the ceiling onto us, crawled into cups, and built webbed fortresses around our entry and exit points. After working on our own to calm the storm, we discovered that an exterminator visits every few weeks as a complimentary service. The leasing office, though, never informed us of this. Beyond that, we have had issues with water running into the apartment under our walls, crickets living in multiple walls, and toilets running. The maintenance is slow (leaving our garbage disposal clogged for 3 days, dirty sink water and all) and the walls are thin. There isn't a lot of air-tight quality, as the AC or heat always run.

Alternatively, the community is nice and homey. Our neighbors, though quiet, have always been kind. The office staff radiates kindness, between their stints of covering up the issues within their apartments. If you're looking for a place close to town AND the interstate, with a wonderful community, but no real benefits or convenience once inside of your home...this is the place for you. If, however, you're looking for a worry free stay, keep looking.
