Resident of 3 years so far. The apartments were very affordable for a 2 bedroom unit, and I could deal with the defects of an older building at the time. Since then the building has switched managers four times, each less responsive to tenant complaints than the last. Vacant units are patched up to be presentable and nothing else. Maintenance is patchwork and hardly ever present, and there have been at least two incidents within 2018 in which water, a utility paid by the property manager, was... shut off from nonpayment. The building was built in the 1960s and hasn't been updated since. After moving in, I noticed the HVAC unit has NO air filters; the cables coming into the apartment are duct taped. There's no cabinet in the bathroom. You can fill the subfloor under the carpet.
