Atrium Village

My auntie Mattie Tyler lives in Atrium Village and she speaks very highly her location. It appears that she is comfortable in her surroundings and this makes my family feel at ease.

My wife lived in fear here of rats and mice all over the place I asked other residents about mice they also had a problem they have no security there the 2 ladys in the office are security form 9-5 or when they are't finding a way to steal the seniors money! This is in no way a senior complex its worse kids live there drug dealers and no security camera don't be fooled, so watch out for thoses really nice post about this complex this is the real DEAL! Seniors beware!

The title tells the story! it`s a community for seniors 55 , but once you live there, it`s another story! The way they maintain this place is a crying shame for the elderly to have to live like this! Repairs, if they get worked on are shoddy! Yet they`re waiting on the rent check on the first! Anyone that has parents that they care about, do not stop here, kep on going!

the apartment buildings look nice from outside. There have been some updates since I last lived here ten years ago, but the updated appliances do not match. For instance, I have a black refrigerator and dishwasher and a white stove. The bathroom sinks are the same style as twenty years ago and are yellowing. Smoke from other apartments infiltrate my apartment. The manager stated when I first moved in that my apartment smelled like a cheap motel, so she had the carpet changed thinking the... previous renter caused the smell. I had maid service several times afterward. But months later, everything smells of cigarette smoke including tiwels and laundry. I've been in apartments where the smoke does infiltrate like this apartment. Maintenance staff is prompt and handles most repairs timely. There have been issues with people breaking into cars in the parking lot as well as incidents of townhouses being broken into by people who knocked first to see if someone was home. The management sent out notices on how to prevent this from happening. The property does have security service, and the security company actually has two vehicles patrolling much of the time especially at night. I would give the apartment complex a 4.5 out of five if it wasn't for all the cigarette smoke. The manager is fairly responsive when there are issues, even looking for another apartment for me within the complex where I could relocate, but unfortunately no apartments were available. I am glad she tried. She can't help it that the building. Has smoke infiltration issues, she was not responsible for building the complex. So I'm not blaming her for the smoke issue. For this side of town, this complex is one of the nicer complexes. There are many complexes I would not consider ear here. The amenities inside the also also include a washer and dryer hook up. Convenient.
