Jade North Apartments

There's a few quirks to the place but for the price I have been very pleased. The location is fantastic. While a little older, the kitchen/bathrooms have worked well. Before moving in there was new carpet and blinds installed, as well as some bathroom touch-ups. There's a great community around the courtyard and pool which means some music playing and people having fun during summer, but no noise problems in my opinion per se. Would recommend.

I was nervous about moving to Jade North. I lived in a secure locked lobby apartment for 16 years & was concerned about my feeling of security. I've lived here six months & I feel very safe. The apartment is spacious and the appliances are nearly new. The courtyard view from my balcony is lovely, especially on summer nights when the lanterns line the balconies. The courtyard is beautifully landscaped, as is the rest of the property with mature pine trees. The property managers are… friendly and very responsive to requests. Sarah & Jeff, in the office, are great and Terri showed great kindness & consideration when I moved in. I've lived in apts 40 years, and Lance & Mike are the best maintenance team I've known. This property is run-down, poorly maintained and has significant water damage that has not been properly remediated. Be aware of what living in a water-damaged building can do to your health.

I have lived at Jade North for over a year now and I can say it is probably the best value this close to Broad Ripple. The best feature of the complex is the maintenance - so prompt. If it’s a small request it will usually be taken care of within a few business hours.

Jade North also offers a lot of amenities for the price. Covered parking is a great deal.

Drawbacks are: 1. The washing machines are down pretty frequently; 2. Dishwasher is so old it really doesn’t do anything - dishes must be… clean going in; 3. My apartment had a bug problem when I moved in, was able to resolve it within 3-4 month. 4. Gas heat - extremely expensive in the winter.

Office staff has always been helpful and friendly enough. Overall the drawbacks are pretty minor when compared with the price and location. Great community. Read More
