Nora Commons on the Monon Senior Apartments

My mother lived here for over 7 years. It started as a great place, well kept up. In the past 1 1/2years it has continued to deteriorate with absolutely NO interest from management or the owners to make changes. Last winter 2 of the 3 elevators were not working for over 6 weeks, leaving her bound in her apartment as her scooter didn’t fit in the 3rd occasionally functional very small elevator. They advertise that it is a secure building yet almost daily people prop open the back door or leave it... ajar and I looked due to its broken hinge. The last straw was her being hospitalized on three separate occasions over the past month due to heat exhaustion from her air conditioner not working for over 6 weeks in 80-90* weather. Think twice before coming here! There are better places for our seniors where they actually care for their safety & welfare. Truly shameful! Read More
