I have currently been a resident here at Suncrest for three years I hate to move but unfortunately the rent is going up and the good news is I have found a home was actually to rent a home there is an apartment but I would recommend Suncrest to anyone looking for a good place to live with your family it was just me and my son and it was great for the three years that was here but it’s time to move on to bigger and better things Stacey and the Suncrest team is great!!!!!!??Kim Jones

Moved in several months ago and several things that I listed as not working on my move in list have still not been fixed. For instance, there is a random cable that is cut in several places runs across the whole apartment and the doors(finally just removed this one myself), the washer and dryer are broken, and the closet doesn't have anything to hang clothes on. You can hear EVERYTHING in the main hallway but can't hear much in the actual room. The staff changes frequently and has difficulty… keeping anyone other then one person. The street lights are usually not working, only a few work that I've notice and they are mostly by the main office. The fence that is between this complex and another is broken and there renters walk through this complex all the time. The complex next to this one is very disruptive and police and ambulances are called often. You can not get pizza delivered due to the complex next to suncrest. If your unit does come with a washer and dryer it is ridiculously small, as in 3 pairs of pants if your lucky. The shower was dirty when I moved in. there is an ORANGE wall in the dinning room. Our cars have been broken into 2 times in the last 3 months - this place has grounds light everywhere but that has not stopped anything. Clover Leaf people are super low class housing with matched people. We have lived here less than year and can't wait to get out! People are always leaving, never see anyone move in. Gun shots 2-3 times a week and crime in area is super high (check IMPD crime map.) The area has gone downhill. The USPS REFUSES to leave anything at the door - b/c we had items… stolen and so did 2 of my neighbors (asking if we got their package by chance - that is how we found out.) We can't get a pizza delivered any longer. Papa John's guy was beat up and robbed - by the club house (in the spring.) There was no Trick or Treating this year, in the complex, due to the crime rate in the area. I would not recommend this place based on reasons above and many others. Read More

Renting at Suncrest Apartments has been one of my best rental experiences yet. It is one of the most affordable Indianapolis communities that provides a washer and dryer in the unit. The walls are thick enough to keep the neighbors' noise to a minimum. The maintenance team responded very quickly to all of the items we noted on our move-in checklist.

The property itself was purchased by a leasing company earlier this year, and they put millions of dollars worth of renovations into the community… . This is obvious when you tour, as all of the kitchen appliances are new and the carpet and laminate flooring are very clean.

Most importantly, the front office staff is incredibly friendly. In the past, I experienced leasing agents that were friendly up until the moment the lease was signed. Suncrest's front office staff has continued to greet us kindly and be helpful long after lease-signing. They are invested in their community and are excellent representatives of the company.

There are only a few reasons I did not rate this community a full five stars. The first is that it is close to the airport, and the thin windows do not keep airplane noise out very well. Also, since this is a converted retirement community, there are not very many parking spaces. The leasing agent told us that there is only one parking spot for each unit (and you can imagine that several units have multiple people with multiple cars). Additionally, there are breaks in the fence that surrounds the property so that people can walk in; I personally do not feel unsafe because of this, but I can definitely understand why some people would be concerned about this.

The cons that I listed are only minor issues. Overall, I would rate this as a very good rental choice, especially if you work in Plainfield or Avon, but want to be close to the city. Read More
