About Turnverein Apartments
Located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, history and elegance come together at The Turnverein Apartments. Originally constructed in 1914 as The Independent Turnverein, this historic building was originally a German Athletic Club. During a 1980... renovation, a center atrium was added and the original ball room, natatorium, and gymnasium were turned into a full sized penthouse and 50 apartments. Many of these apartments still boast original stained glass windows and walnut woodwork. The Turnverein was added to the National Register of Historic places in 1983 and stands out as one of Indianapolis' finest addresses.

love love love!
I loved everything about my time at the Turnverein. My job moved me elsewhere, and I was so sad to leave. Each unit is so unique and beautiful. If you're into the vintage vibe, you'll love this place. So close to everything downtown, and the parking situation was great!

Noise/Bugs/Location
Hope you don’t get stuck next to my neighbor who plays shooting games all night and has his bass turned up so much it shakes my apartment. Can’t sleep even with ear plugs in. Stairwells smell and there is a bug problem. Cockroaches. Didn’t open pool last year until July. Perks: Good location and 1 gated parking spot.
