Forest Oaks Apartments

I lived at Forest Oaks while I attended BSU and it has been the absolute worst place I have lived in.
Property manager changed at some point and is barely ever on the property, even during the businesses hours. Constantly having to battle all different kinds of bugs, flooding and neighbors who smoke inside of their apartments. Heating prices in the winter go through the roof because of the poor construction and maintenance as well. I have lived in several other apartments in Muncie, and this is the best by far. I can confirm what many other reviewers have already stated. The apartments are modern, spacious, clean, and bright. The number of windows and storage space exceeds the standard. A full-size washer and dryer in every unit is a godsend. Good neighbors and good construction make this the quietest place you will find. I spent a considerable amount of time looking at apartments in Muncie before choosing Forest Oaks Apartments.
I chose this community over ones with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The apartments at Forest Oaks are extremely well maintained, incredibly spacious, and close to everything. There are many mature trees, it’s quiet and has an awesome safety record. I wasn’t willing to throw away large and cozy rooms for stainless steel. I am impressed with the maintenance staff.... Their response time is excellent. Apartment Management is usually very attentive and quick to respond- only to drop you like a hot potato after you’ve moved in. That doesn’t happen at Forest Oaks. Mindi is amazing, and this is true long after you’ve moved in.

Forest Oaks was by far the nicest apartment complex we toured when deciding where to live in Muncie. We were extremely impressed by Mindi’s responsiveness, commitment to providing a great living experience for tenants, and desire to improve the property. The grounds and amenities are kept clean and well-manicured. Maintenance is always happy to help and easy to reach. We took advantage of the fantastic amenities often and were always pleased with our time there. Parking is never an issue as... there are plenty of spaces. Couldn't be happier with our decision to stay in Forest Oaks Apartments! Great apartments for the price and location. Quite. Safe. Great amenities. Management goes up and beyond, especially Mindi in the leasing office. You won't be disappointed.
