The Haven

There is so much potential. I love the gym, it is so nice and has good amount of different equipment. Some of it broken like one of the bike machines is missing a pedal and has not been fixed. The bus is a good way of getting to where you need to go. The apartments are spacious, at least the 4x4 is, I enjoy the fact you get your own bathroom. The main building is good with a meeting space and study area for all. Being able to pick up a package at the main office is convenient especially when… coming back on the bus. But also so many issues. The stairs never get salt during the winter, they are constantly covered in food and trash, the neighbors let their animals poop and pee all over the stairwell and outside their door, the buses are always dirty with peeling seats and trash, rust stains all over the stairs leading to the apartments, the only maintenance done is the air filter switching and smoke alarm changing. Requesting an amenity was so difficult sometimes they only wanted you to do it through the app even if none of the amenities are in use. Also, it has to be on the hour no 2:01, 2:02, 2:17, or “weird times” it has to be exactly on the hour. So even if you are there, get to the front desk, the amenities are free, you can’t book because it is so many minutes pass the hour and have to wait. No guarantee they will approve it though. Also for the buses they do not check the ID and make sure everyone is from the Haven Apartments, they only checked during my last two months there and immediately stopped after according to a roommate who is still there.
