I transferred to the area for work and Nichole and her staff made the move in process very easy. The apartments are super cute and updated and I felt right at home for the three years I lived here! I live here for around two years, and here’s an honest overview of the comfort and luxury experience promised:
Luxury bathroom: Wastewater with leaves, grease, leftover food come up to the bathroom sink once every few months (and sometimes more frequently). The backup flooded to the floor twice. After reporting (which is a whole other problem I’ll get into later), maintenance came and did some cleaning, which prevent backup for a month or two before it inevitably backups again. Clearly there... are bigger underlying issues and the office dragged their feet in providing an explanation and plan for its solution.
Luxury management: Slow in responding and reluctant to provide information. Recently, sewer backup happened for four days straight over a long weekend. I texted, emailed, and contacted their emergency line without any response. The next business day, the office texted back and told me to contact emergency maintenance. Clearly the different departments don’t know what each other is doing and don’t talk to each other and don’t take responsibilities. This happened three weeks ago, and I had to prompt every time for them to give any updates on what the actual problem is and what they are going to do about it, and so far all responses (that came only after prompted) is among the lines of “oh, sorry, we are looking into it”.

Which I believe is why the vacancy is so high.

The published rent is not what you pay, there are required amenities added onto it, such as a package locker that I've never used but cannot opt out of.

The main issue I've had with Westridge Flats is the lack of soundproofing. My first set of neighbors were college kids who behaved like normal college kids, but I'm an adult who works normal business hours and cannot stay awake all night long while they can and do. So I had to explain that I... can't sleep while they are up late and they were cool about it and kept the noise level down until they moved out at the end of their lease.

Now I have a new set of neighbors that I had to tell last night that I can't sleep because I can hear them. They were just TALKING but I could hear them. So, just be aware that the buildings here have ZERO soundproofing and you will pay about $100 more than the published rate for amenities that you may never use. Read More

New manager and owners are only in it for the money. Walls are thin enough to hear neighbors, Maintenance is a joke. Apartment flooded from the 3rd floor apartment and I was left to clean it up and everytime someone came in to do repairs 3 times I also had to clean up even after it was told to the management. Local manager and district Manager flat out lied to my face saying things were corrected but never were, They were very rude and treated me like I was stupid.

1- The Westridge’s security deposit is one month’s rent, and you won’t get it back at the end, no matter how well you cleaned the apartment. They charge you for painting all the walls and doors even with no marks or stains, $75 for each bedroom carpet cleaning, and many unacceptable terms. They don’t even respond to our emails after moving out.

2- The walls are too thin and there is no sound insulation. You are literally living with your neighbors. If you can sleep with your neighbor’s... snoring, then go ahead and get this place.

3- The air conditioner is extremely noisy, especially when you need to use two units or more. Read More
