Hunters' Ridge Apartments

The patio is so nice, because is closed off from your neighbors and you cannot see them. I love the dog park for the dogs to interact with others and run out their energy, I love the set up of the apartment, the bench to put shoes in by the door is amazing, the bookshelf and computer desk are WONDERFUL, the walk in closet to the main bedroom are amazing. I lived here for one year and for the most part, loved it. It's located in a nice area and close to different shops. The people in the office were always friendly and would help with anything they could. The maintenance crew was nice too and helped sufficiently. The only downside I can think of is the spiders in the area. I have arachnophobia and sometimes would find giant field spiders in my apartment. I lived at Hunters Ridge for 2 years and would rate the apartments, and business as the best I experienced in Lawrence. The apartments are aesthetically pleasing, the utilities were less than other apartments, and the maintenance was top notch. I called twice for two separate maintenance requests, and they promptly fixed each of the problems. In regards to amenities, their gym is spacious and well equipped, and I really enjoyed the pool which was always clean and well kept. My neighbors were... always pleasant to deal with. The only minor issue I had was parking. On occasion I would have to park kind of far away because of somewhat limited parking. That being said, had my husband and I not bought a house we would likely still be living at Hunters Ridge Apartments. My husband has commented numerous times about the benefits of not having to deal with house problems, taxes, insurance, and mortgage interest. Since moving in, I’ve felt nothing short of at home. Management is warm and inviting, maintenance is prompt, and the apartments are spacious and beautiful. Great location to shopping and restaurants as well. I highly recommend this apartment community to anyone looking to move.
