This complex motivated me and my Bf to spend more money on rent living somewhere else to not experience issues like this again. While the apartments appear nice, they’re poorly constructed. Some parts of the fake floor weren’t finished in some areas. All windows and doors have little to no thermal and noise insulation. Winter was the WORST! The vents aren’t even pointing to where they should be. The primary room vent... had the heat blasting my face at night, I had to close it a little. The noise? I can hear everything from the parking lot, the hallway and between units. You sent out an email to the front office about it instead of the on site officer and all you get is a mass email telling everyone to be quiet when the known quiet times are after 10pm yet people are laughing loudly at 1am every night. Speaking of noise, the bottom floor has the be the worst. The upstairs neighbor I swear was wearing boots all hours of the day, walking and moving furniture and dropping things. And it sounded so loud, it’s like he dropped things into my apartment! So don’t get a bottom floor!
The trash? I should’ve known one little compactor for a whole complex would be troublesome. It breaks down so often from the overwhelming amount of trash, it’d pile up outside and sometimes you weren’t able to dump there making you keep the trash in your apartment!
Now parking…Choose the building closer to the compactor because there isn’t adequate space for everyone. I’d have to be lucky to find parking near my building and I’m not very lucky. Be okay with walking in any season, rain or snow etc. just know the parking lot also fills up with GUESTS of renters making you “renter” park even farther away.
Pets. The amount of dog crap all over not being picked up, finally had the office try to scare people by telling them they’ll take poo samples to find out who isn’t picking up their dogs poop. Btw, one time, I heard someone near my window so I looked outside, to my surprise, I saw a grown man stomping his dogs poop into the grass with his shoe…That track into his own apartment I’m sure but to be that lazy to pick up your own dogs poop??
Lastly, the mailroom. The joy of trying to find mail in that room warranted me to never get a place with a mail room again. Not only are hundred of other people not able to find their package in a tiny room, the couriers don’t even put them in the place they’re supposed to. I’
