Flats at Devonport

When I moved in the sink and tub were clogged with thick black hair. Dirt was on nearly every surface and wall. Dead roaches along the walls and live ones scattered throughout the kitchen. Maintenance and the leasing office always have full mailboxes. Lots of water issues from both the roof and sink… but can’t get any help. The “drop off box” for your CHECKS is a doggy door. Leasing office has 0 times posted but it won’t matter even if they did because even when they are there they refuse to... interact with any residents. I’ve called the leasing office and visibly seen the property “management” ignore my call (because again they were present but kept the door locked). The only benefit of this place is that it is cheap. Homeless OD on the stairs in the parking lot and steal from your porches so be aware. Even though they claim to have surveillance they don’t & cars constantly get hit and robbed. The owner will probably change in a couple months but the last three continue to get worse somehow… also someone will get seriously hurt on those wood steps that are falling apart and slippery as the snakes that run this place. The staff is knowlegable and nice. The maintenance staff is knowlegable and speedy on fixing any and all issues I have.

This place is great. It is so quiet here I just love it. My neighbors are wonderful and make it feel like a community. I have only needed maintenance one time and they cam very quickly. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Magenment is unorganized and doesn't know what they are doing. Withheld my name from the lease even though I reassure I was on it. Matenience doesn't do anything, have had a leaking roof for a month. Now theres mold forming. Stay far away.
