Townley Park Apartments

I have lived in several apartment communities and I have to say this was one of my least favorites. Everytime you run the dishwasher there is a strong smell of sulfur. Sometimes the water from the faucet smells as well. When you walk outside often the smell is overwhelming. The parking is horrendous. They say they are working on it, but don't hold your breath. Their new policy to help is to have your guests scan a qr code and if they stay too long don't worry they will charge you. It's a... terrible system. They send more emails and have more inspections than anywhere I have ever lived. You are not allowed to reschedule and they often give you less notice than what is indicated on the paper notices. That walls of the apartment are very thin, so hopefully your neighbors aren't too loud. The renewal rates will price you out. My rate went up over $200. This company is good at taking your money, but not much else. Also the showers are not properly sealed so mold grows under the plastic paneling. Also one of our bathrooms smelled strongly of mold in the cabinet. Of course we were told that's normal. Some of the maintenance are decent, others are driving gold carts playing on their phones. There is not enough parking for the apartments. The washer is so old and small. Good luck doing laundry! The smell is bad.... They take no pride in the grounds. I understand there is a lot of college student, but you will find trash and dog poop everywhere. But the worst part is parking.

The parking is horrible. I had to park by the pool every night if I arrived home after 5:30pm. There is a horrible smell outside due to the water treatment facility. The maintenance department is not very helpful, and their response time is slow. Finally, they advertise a full size washer and dryer, however they are NOT full size, I could fit 4 towels in a load and that was pushing it. The apartments look nice, and it was nice living close by to Kroger and food, but it is not worth the price

Townley park apartments has new and older apartments as well as town homes you can rent. I live in one of the older two bedroom apartments along with two cats. The living room is a little smaller than I would like, but other then that it is a great size. Both bedrooms have two large walk in closets. The pet policy is good compared to other places. The staff is great and very nice. here is a pool, workout room, and a tanning bed. The location is fantastic, right off new circle, near Kroger, Taco... Bell, Zaxbys, Wendy's, Wallgreens, Applebee's. Townley Park Apartments are a nice place to live for someone between 20 and 30. One bedrooms are a little expensive at $710/month plus utilities but it is worth it as the service department is great and the office staff is friendly. Parking can be an issue in the winter but is great in the summer. The rooms are spacious although the closets are rather small. The balcony is nice and high ceilings on the third floor are worth paying a bit more for. They have regular pest inspections and the place... is thoroughly clean before move in. The pool is always clean. The tanning bed is older and breaking but the exercise equipment is nice, up to date and maintained. There aren't many resident activities so meeting neighbors isn't really likely. People are all respectful and I've never had a noise problem. Pets are allowed and most people clean up after their own. It is close to the grocery store and within walking distance of several restaurants and Walgreens.
