HORRIBLE

This is the worst apartment complex I’ve lived in. Unfortunately, my experience here has been very disappointing for several reasons. The biggest issue is the serious bug problem. Even though residents are required to pay a pest control fee, I was told that pest control only sprays the outside of the complex, which does not solve the problem inside the apartments. For tenants who are paying for this service, that is extremely frustrating and feels unfair.

Another thing potential renters should...
be aware of is the extra fees. Make sure you carefully read your lease before signing because there are several additional charges that may not be obvious at first. It’s important to know exactly what you’ll be paying each month.

Parking is also a problem. There are often not enough parking spots available, yet cars still get towed. It seems like management picks and chooses which vehicles to tow, which makes the situation even more frustrating for residents who already struggle to find parking.

On top of all of that, the walls are extremely thin. You can hear neighbors very easily, which makes it difficult to enjoy any peace and quiet in your own apartment.

Overall, my experience here has been very negative. Between the bug issues, the extra fees, the parking situation, and the thin walls, this is not a place I would recommend living.

We do partner with a professional pest control company that performs... routine exterior treatments as well as interior treatments upon request. If you were experiencing activity inside your apartment, we sincerely apologize if that was not addressed to your satisfaction and encourage you to contact the office so we can ensure additional service is scheduled and completed. Regarding fees, we understand how important transparency is. All applicable charges including utilities and community-related fees are outlined in the lease agreement provided prior to move-in. We always encourage residents to reach out with any questions so we can clarify what to expect on a monthly basis. Parking availability can vary at times, and we work to enforce community policies consistently to ensure fair use of spaces for all residents. Towing is only conducted in accordance with community guidelines, and we regret if this process has felt inconsistent or frustrating. While some level of sound transfer can occur, we encourage residents to report excessive disturbances so they can be addressed appropriately. We’re sorry to hear that your overall experience has been negative, as our goal is to provide a comfortable and well-managed community. If there are any outstanding concerns, we encourage you to contact the leasing office directly so we can work toward improving your experience!

I don't mind, but I won't be renewing my lease

The apartment is pretty much okay. The floor and ceiling are not level. The vinyl finish is very wavy, and the ceiling has stains. The drains are slow and the apartment complex as a whole is pretty dirty. The pool was always "closed for cleaning", but the gym was decent. My maintenance requests were always handled in a timely manner, but when the big snow storm hit, the harper didn't salt any of the parking lots or roads, and plow trucks didn't come through so me and my fiancé were stuck in our... apartment for a week because our cars couldn't get out due to the ice. I haven't minded living here, but I will be looking for something nicer.

Old apartments and management doesn't care

The photos of this place look nice but it is a lie. Looking closer the apartments are trashy and old with a few fancy bits to make it look better. Overall the number of issues I have had make it one of the worst apartment experiences I have ever had.

Had a 1st floor apartment

Some of the major issues:
-> Apartment leaked every time it rained and I ended up with an inch of water on the floor. - 6 months and it still hasn't been fixed
-> Had a termite infestation
-> Walls have cracks in them due...
to the building shifting
-> Drain started backing up

Not luxury

It’s obvious that whoever does maintenance and paint work is an amateur. Patchwork in the walls bleeds through, vents and plug covers painted over, dirty appliances when moved in. Parking lot floods, and maintenance requests take forever. RUB utility is a ripoff and a joke.

If I could rate less than 1 star I would…

Do not move into the Harper apartments.
My boyfriend and I have been residents for 7 months and we can tell you, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! These apartments are cheap and everything in them break very easy. It might look luxury but it’s just cheap “trendy”. Our AC has been out for 2 months and it is still isn’t fixed after 6 maintenance request, calls to the office and personal trips to the office to try and talk to someone. Every email I have ever sent to the office has also never been...
answered. Lastly, we had a hole leaking from our ceiling that was clearly coming from the roof, what did maintenance do? Patch the hole to our ceiling and not fix the leak so it just kept breaking through. I have also heard several residents complain about mold and I would believe it because the vents in our apartment are disgusting and look like they have mold! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!
