The W at Brannon

I’ve really enjoyed living at W2 at Brannon. The apartments are nice and the amenities are definitely a plus. I also love that you get access to the amenities at both W2 and W, so you basically get double the amenities. Management was very responsive and the girls in the office are super helpful and friendly, as well as the maintenance team. Overall, I’ve had a really good experience here

after a year of living at the W, i am only moving because i am moving out of state, or i would’ve loved to live here longer. the location is amazing - there is a pilates studio right across the street, a kroger and home goods, as well as many other restaurants, coffee shops & more in the area. i have felt so safe living here — walking from my car in the parking lot at night into the hallways that you can only get into with a key fob, i feel safe at all times, which was especially important for… me as a woman who lives alone. the pool is the best apartment pool i’ve had and i spent all summer out here! having access to 2 pools and 2 gyms was also such a huge perk. my packages were always safe inside the package room! the apartment is stunning, with new appliances, a modern look, and very clean. i love having valet trash as well! i couldn’t recommend this complex enough. i have loved living here! As of today, it has been 68 days since my official move out date, and I’ve yet to receive the return of my security deposit. 68 days! Both KY law and the lease specifies the return of a security deposit within 30 days. The amount of excuses I’ve received is ridiculous, and I’m continuing to get the run-around. I judge an apartment complex by how they treat a tenant on the way out, and I’ve received disgustingly inadequate treatment on the way out.

Additionally, the walls are paper thin, my unit… had a persistent silverfish problem no matter how often pest control sprayed, and they charged me $300 to move furniture to the dumpster instead of allowing a local church to pick up the furniture for their donation program. The apartment is centrally located to restaurants, grocery, and stores. Unfortunately, in the new building the exterior windows are improperly installed and the condensation between the glass blocks the view in cold weather. The condensation also leaks into the inside of the unit. If you don't care about being able to see out during the winter months, everything else is nice. I would recommend documenting the water ingress so that you aren't charged for the damage when you move out.
