Shawnee Trail Apartments

I normally don’t leave reviews, but after living at this apartment complex, I feel like I should warn future residents. My experience here was consistently disappointing.

Maintenance was one of the biggest frustrations. Requests were either ignored for weeks or marked as “completed” even when nothing had been fixed. I dealt with constant issues like leaks, faulty appliances, and unreliable heating and air none of which were properly addressed.

Management was equally frustrating. Communication... was poor, and staff often acted irritated or dismissive when I asked for help. Instead of solutions, I got excuses. They’re quick to take your money but slow to resolve any problems.

Management are all gold diggers. If there’s something they can charge you for, they’ll do it. They raised rent without acknowledging tenants, Laundry and fitness centers were usually broken, claimed to offer amenities like a dishwasher units did not have, and refused to inform maintenance when a work request was put in. Literally pick anywhere else to live!

The smell the apartment gives off is rough. Does not ever really leave either.

I have nothing but great experience, my boyfriend lives there and I stay with him from time to time and it’s a very quiet and calm place.

I could go on and on about how bad this place is, but I can only write so much. This place smells like cigarettes and mold, customer service is horrible, they charge you $50/hour for EMERGENCY maintenance, they don’t replace anything that was damaged from the previous tenants, our neighbors literally got in our mailbox and vandalized my car and nothing got done about it, they absolutely will not do a move out inspection with you, and when you move out they decide to take your deposit and charge... you for extra stuff that should be a typical turn for a unit.
