Ok
I would strongly caution anyone considering living at 19Nineteen Promenade Apartments. My experience has been frustrating, misleading, and honestly disappointing.
First, there is a major lack of transparency when it comes to breaking your lease. While they clearly state there is a lease break fee, they do not fully communicate that you are also responsible for an additional two months of rent on top of that fee. This was never made clear upfront and feels extremely misleading.
The condition of... the apartment at move-in was also unacceptable. There were no light switch covers or outlet covers installed, which is both unsafe and unfinished. On top of that, the bathroom vent cover was missing for an entire month after moving in.
Move-out charges were even more unreasonable. Despite paying monthly pet rent and a non-refundable pet fee, I was still charged an additional $50 for carpet cleaning due to having a pet. I was also charged $50 to paint the bathroom ceiling—even though I documented existing damage to the ceiling on the move-in inspection form they require residents to complete.
Other charges were just as excessive and questionable:
$5 to remove a shower head filter
$20 for a stain under the sink that was already there at move-in and documented
$15 to replace three light bulbs
$10 to clean a trash can
The entire purpose of the move-in condition form is to protect residents from being charged for pre-existing issues, yet that was completely ignored.
Overall, this complex lacks transparency, accountability, and basic attention to resident concerns. I would not recommend living here.
