I've lived here for 8 years and there has always been delays in Management's handling of maintenance issues. Now, since management has changed several times, it's even worse. We no longer have pest control and I now have mice in my apartment. Recently, every apartment in my building had water coming through the floors for WEEKS and nothing was done after we repeatedly reported it. This experience has been miserable.

Awesome
My grandmother has been living here since hurricane Katrina and she loves it. The staff are so caring and understanding. The maintenance come right away and the do everything right.

Let me start off by saying thanks for the opportunity to write a review for my apartment complex. Since day one pelican bay has made me feel right at home. I was so excited when i got my keys. This is my 1st apartment and plus its 50 plus miles from my original home (my parents home). They assured me and my parents I would be safe when i started moving my stuff in my apartment there was cop that would look out for everybody day and nite.Then my neighbors were so dependable very helpful letting... me know if i had family stop by or if i had mail from UPS. But what really made me appreciate the community of pelican bay was that time when stepped out on faith and changed jobs. My new jobs was not paying me that well and i had to get a 2nd job i was becoming late on rent and other bills. Ms.Shannon(apartment management) totally helped me, she set me up on a payment arrangement and gave me encouraging words in my rough times.

Safe and Affordable
I moved her in April 2014, since then i must say i am very much impressed. The office staff and maintenance staff are very friendly. The complex is very quiet and paking lot is alway kept up. In relocating i was worried about where i stay because i have kids. The apartments are newly remodeled and i am very happy that i moved here. I feel very safe and my kids love it so thats all that matters.
