Yet another apartment all about the fees they can get out of you in the end

I had a very short stay but a big cleaning bill. The apartment was left in better shape than I found it. Nice place too bad for money grabbing fees. I was left feeling taking advantage of and had moved too far away to fight about it. Take pictures and be specific with your move in.

We are so very sorry that you feel that way about the cleaning fee. It was never our intentions for the cleaning charges to be hidden, as we have included the cleaning charges and fees in our community policy paperwork that we go over upon move-in… for every new tenant. It is also required for these documents to be signed by the tenant before we release keys for the unit. A move-in check list is also supplied to new tenants to go through the unit and mark anything and everything on the list that may be an issue, so we will also have that information on file as well. We supply a copy of all the signed documents to each tenant, so that all the information about the community policies and lease are always available to you. We do greatly appreciate your stay with us and would have gladly gone over any concerns or questions about the charges with you via email or phone call, whichever would have been the most convenient for you since you no longer live in town. Again we sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding or miscommunications about the cleaning cost. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, so that we may make proper adjustments to how things are explained and gone over moving forwards.
