It’s a pity to see how this apartment complex is circling the drain in the five years it’s been open. It has truly fallen by the wayside. From the poor maintenance of the complex, the lack of decorum in the residents, the rise in vehicle break in’s and parking lot loiters, and the failure to penalize residents who OPENLY smoke marijuana on their patios and inside their apartments, it’s a shame.

there are bird droppings all over the stairways and unless a maintenance request is submitted so it… can be cleaned up, it’s never attended to. It’s embarrassing and frustrating to walk up the stairs to my apartment in the evening and see bird droppings, cob webs, deceased bugs, and overall filth on the exterior of the building. The paint on the exterior of the buildings along with the doors is faded and is in dire need of a touch up. It’s even more embarrassing when you have guests visiting you. People drive through the parking lot at reckless speeds, i’ve been in several near miss accidents entering and exiting the complex due to people’s erratic driving.

The gates are broken at least 50% of the time so the complex is easily accessible to non-residents which compromises the overall safety of vehicles and the mail room. My packages have been stolen from the mail room several times, it’s to the point where I refuse to ship stuff to my apartment because there’s no guarantee that I will receive my shipment and the leasing office seems uninterested in finding ways to better secure the mail room. No key or fingerprint is required to enter, the locker system that delivery services (UPS, FedEx, etc) use to store packages is broken quite often which results in packages being left on the floor of the mailroom with ZERO security.

It’s been astounding to see the steep decline in upkeep, safety, and regard that both residents and the leasing office have for this community. I wish I could recommend a better complex to move to, but sadly it appears that this is the norm for most complexes in the region. I have resided at legacy for almost 2 years and will be renewing for a 3rd. The entire staff is always so kind and have always taken care of any needs promptly. I feel safe and the apartments themselves are well maintained. Other residents are so kind and also do their part in taking care of our small community. I have only ever had positive things to say which is why I have no plans of leaving any time soon. Couldn’t recommend enough!
