Southwind Apts

I have been a resident for a few years I live rent a 2 b/r 1bath apt. Visually the outside of the complex is pretty well kept up. The neighborhood it's pretty quite the tenants are friendly but they mind their business. The inside of the apartment is not as spectacular, 1st the apartments are small and the layout is awkward. Washer/dryer hookups are located in the dining room area which is so weird.
the outlets & cable connections are in awkward places and are worn & lose, so it's a challenge... arranging furniture the way you would like it in the apt. The kitchen is very small & long only two people can be in their at a time, the kitchen appliances are out dated, the kitchen cabinets are very small & hard to fix supplies in,
only a very small microwave to
can fit properly on the countertops, very limited storage space, the closets are small the floors tiles are pale white with gray specks in it that are old & hard to keep clean. The bathroom is small the toilet sits really low the cabinets are made of that cheap cider that smells horrible when it gets wet, which leads me to the pipes they leak a lot the sink drains drain very slow. AC/Heating units are old but work ok. I do like the door enterance to the apt it's kind of a closed off porch it's a small area but it allows some privacy.
This apartment complex is good for someone who would like to go back in time like to the 1980's. Another thing that is bad is the rent increases every year which can be a burden to those trying to make ends meet.
With some major upgrades and and repairs Southwind Apartments would be an awesome place to live. Read More
