I’m coming up on my first year living here and will start by saying I have no plan to move. The units are nice, well insulated, spacious, and minimalistic which makes it easy to make it your own. The units have a very modern look to them and depending on where you are, have great natural lighting. The insulation helps keep my house freezing and my electric bill at a reasonable price all while making each unit practically soundproof (from my experience).
The downside of these townhomes is they... are not done. A lot wasn’t finished when I first moved in and some things took a little longer than expected (some people have had maintenance requests in for months). Another issue is that the amenities aren’t finished. A big seller for me was the gated community so I was really hoping that it would have been built already and with this issue stems other issues. This isn’t an area you typically have to worry about mischief but the problems I’ve had are the strays/wandering pets from the surrounding areas. Most are super friendly and not at all problematic unless you have a smaller reactive dog (like mine). With this being new construction I know the amenities are to come, I am just getting impatient.
I work as a traveler and have toured apartments in several states and can say that the people running this (and a few other) location(s) are great. They work with you on everything. I had never stepped foot in the state of Louisiana before literally moving in to my unit and I felt completely comfortable going through with my lease. They started me in a different location until these units were done and adjusted my lease for a smooth transition and are pretty flexible when it comes to most things.
