I had to move to New Iberia for work. Rented this place sight unseen. 1st time ever renting so I didn't realize I picked a handicap accessible apartment. Colin and the staff were very friendly and very helpful during my 4 mths living there. I had a few issues they were tended to immediately. Place was quiet. By far the nicest in New Iberia to rent from. I enjoyed my little 1 bed room it was roomy. If I return to New Iberia to work I will definitely be returning to Squirrel Run.

Overrated
has not designated parking so you might end up having to park far away from your apartment, which is not fun during bad weather or you have groceries. Also some parts of the parking area will result in your vehicle full of bird droppings just by parking overnight. It is a gated community, but pretty much anyone that wants can get in and there has been theft from vehicles. Property is not as child friendly as you would think there is a little play area but thats it. Pool area has become more kids... unfriendly.

Don’t waste your money
They increase rent $50 every renewal, despite how long you’ve lived here. The “car wash” area is a joke, the hose and vacuum don’t work. The playground is good for 2-4 year olds. There isn’t enough parking—you’re better off renting a house for what they charge here.

Over priced
Rent is high apartment small! Closets small with no air ventilation in them. Parking areas is so tight and always over crowded with cars. There are no refundable deposits that make so actual sense. You can make payments online for a 25. Dollar debit or credit card usage fee(tf).
