The bad reviews are all true!

Lived here for more than a year. When signing the lease, we specifically asked about AirBnB and were told "oh no we don't do that!" Well, that was a lie. Many, many people "checking in" at the security desk. Yes, security is having to check them in...great for securing the building. We heard 70 units are now Airbnb! The cleaning company for these unites sends multiple people who refuse to check in with security as "required." They just wait until someone opens the garage entrance and push... right through. So much for knowing who is in the building. Not secure anyway since the stairwell entrance is unlocked always (running joke amongst the tenants). They will not fix the elevators! The appliances are cheap and installed by "maintenance" who have no clue what they are doing. The reviewer who said the upstairs tenants leaked water into her place is probably talking about us but the leak was due to a bad faucet of which we were unaware (no water in our place)...their solution once it leaked into her apartment was to "just push the faucet handle a different way." Said they'd be back to fix it...never happened before we moved. Pet friendly but here that means dogs pee right outside the doors, literally in the garage next to where you wait for your car. Garage was taken over by someone new but same old same old - wreck your car, chase rats out of it, etc. Its not the individual guys but an overall problem. I'd like to say that the owners of the building are the problem but management was just great when we were moving in...moving out they didn't even look at us except to harass our movers about placing items near the elevator - the only one working (service elevator for moving has been broken for almost a year). Maybe they will get it together but right now its not worth the money or the risks. And those "great" reviews on other sites are either written by people they've asked to write positive reviews or people who just moved in and never leave their apartment! Or use their appliances!

Live at your own risk

I moved in 9months ago and can’t wait till my lease is up in July. When I first moved in it was nice, quiet, secure, and great location. The pool on the roof top is only 3ft deep. There’s 5 elevators and only two works at a time and one of them only goes up. Parking is through gopark and it’s $171 a month plus your rent. They valet your car and don’t take care of it. The ppl that parked my car hit my car several times and because you don’t notice it wrote you leave the parking complex... management refuses to acknowledge that they are responsible for damages. There’s rats the size of cats in the garage that during the winter they get in your engine and eat up your wires and when you tell management they tell you that mechanical issues that they are not responsible for. So you end up paying repairs plus rent plus parking. The building now rents to AirBNb and it gets crowded and noisy. The security is out of the window now. Anyone comes in and out and it’s ridiculous. I had a flooding in my apartment from the tenants above me leaving their water on and it dripped to my apartment I told the front office and they told me that my insurance should cover any damages. That’s not how it works. The tenant upstairs should take care of any damages I incur. Anyway, management sucks both the apartment and the parking management. The apartment itself is nice and spacious but the noise, the lack of security, renting to Airbnb, and the parking situation makes a bad place to live.
