New to area and I was very surprised......................

Hello,
6 months ago, I called the complex after only viewing online and spoke with Brooksie. I told her I needed to be moved in 2 weeks due to my job. She told me what she had, what I needed to pay and the deadline in order to meet my needs. All was done in 2 weeks.. Now..... the move in process.... Not all apartments are perfect BUT she was on her job and did the best she could. I did a check in list and she notified me that they were in the process of hiring a new maintenance guy and all of… my issues would be fixed when he started in about 2 weeks. I had a long list so she asked me if there was anything pressing to be fixed ASAP. I told her what I needed that day and it was done the next day. About 2 months later, EVERYTHING was fixed. I have experienced the flood area BUT the office WARNED US ALL by email stating a storm was coming and where we DID NOT NEED TO PARK OUR CARS... Knowing where the location is, I understand the flooding and I am grateful there is sufficient parking so there is no damage to vehicles. No apartment is perfect but when the Office Management tries to make it right, allow them to. I appreciate Brooksie for always assisting me when I call because I called A LOT with repetitive questions before I actually moved. Please don't let negative reviews sway your move here. The flooding issue is in the works of a new draining system so that should be awesome. Sometimes people don't always tell the entire truth or have patience when issues arrive.

DO NOT RENT HERE

I’m a current resident and I have a pest problem, mice to be exact. All I ask is to be peaceful let out of lease without being held responsible for any penalties and I have been denied. Pest control and maintenance is only leaving sticky mouse traps all over my house and not to mention I have kids, one a toddler. After weeks of this problem my refrigerator and stove was finally pulled out but not much done. Property Manager is NO HELP. She brags about not having this issue due to having a cat.… She is very talkative and will over talk you. Bottom line is DO NOT RENT OVER HERE. You will be treated unfairly and basically forced to live in an uninhabitable area.

DO NOT MOVE HERE

This is the worst place in the WORLD to live in. Currently it is flooded due to the rain, my neighbors car is submerged under water. They do NOT fix anything. My oven does not work, my electric bill is almost $300 YEAR ROUND! They are old and outdated. The floor in my kitchen is sunken in and feels like if we walk to hard we will fall through it. It’s SHOOTING every other night and every weekend…. Don’t move here, and management does not care. Brooksie is nice in the office but that’s about it.… Maintenance is the sorriest men I’ve ever seen. The only decent thing here is in inside of the office.

Dear Tamika, We did receive record rain fall in and short period of time however we have checked all drainage to insure it’s working properly and there are no obstructions. Unfortunately, we cannot control mother nature or the water levels of the… lake but we do our best to keep residents up to date with emergency weather notifications. Thankfully we have had no reported damage during the storms Sunday evening. After reviewing your account I do not show any outstanding work orders, please contact the leasing office for any maintenance issues you are having in your home and we will get them taken care of. Horrible Experience

I really don’t like to write bad reviews but if I can save someone from a year worth of trouble it will give me some peace. The apartment is old and has outdated appliances that’s don’t work. My refrigerator didn’t get cold I put in several work orders and they never fixed it. I lost food because of this had bugs all in the refrigerator due to this and it was never taking care of it. I had the worse noisiest neighbors ever. They would fight and play extremely loud music all through the night… while I was sleeping and I called the apartment complex and complained over 10 times and NOTHING WAS DONE. It got to the point where I just left my apartment three months before my lease was up and continued to pay the rent because I couldn’t take it anymore. Last but not least I had a very bad pest problem that I won’t even mention. Just do not live here if you want a peaceful living space!
