Ok if you’re lucky with your unit
So I lived here a little over 2 years. I liked the area and it was quiet for the most part. The apartment was not super clean when I moved in. Floor was dirty enough to make your feet black. The faucets had that built up gunk on them. The patio blinds were taped together where one had broken off. The area where the wall meets the floor behind the master bathroom’s toilet needed to be repaired. I was told it was going to be fixed when I first moved in-they never fixed it. Brought it up 3 times,... each time was told by a different maintenance worker that they would fix it. Maintenance was pretty good for the most part aside from that. Also ppl do not pick up their dog poop. And it’s mostly ppl with huge dogs who don’t, of course. For some reason they would always poop in front of our apartment. Biggest problem was the roaches and mosquitoes when I first moved in. They were primarily in the kitchen. It seemed like no one had lived in that specific unit for a while. Pest control came multiple times and they eventually went away. The mosquitoes were at the main door. I had to use my patio door the whole time I lived here because the mosquitoes were sooooo bad. Asked pest control about it and apparently the apartment doesn’t want to pay for the treatment for mosquitos (allegedly). Second problem was rats that came during the 2nd year. I lived on the 1st floor near the cane field. We caught both of the rats but, after that fiasco, I knew I couldn’t stay here anymore. The only time they tried to go up on my rent was on my 3rd renewal period, but I was moving out at that point. Would I recommend? Depends. If you’re not on the first floor, by a cane field, maybe. I just wasn’t lucky with my unit at all. It’s one of the cheaper, more decent apartments in the area, so…it’s not terrible. Management was nice, except for one lady but I don’t think she works there anymore. Only problem I had was one time I had my trash on my patio about to go throw it away (it had only been out there for a few minutes) and one of them came to tell me it can’t be there with an attitude. She called first and I told her I was about to throw it away, then after she felt like i was taking too long, she came to physically tell me. Mind you, I would see ppl with trash on their patios all the time. Other than that, had no problems with them.
