New maintenance team is awesome!

For the past 7 months we have had major issues with maintenance. We have had work orders in that were marked complete but nothing was ever touched. That changed today with the new maintenance team. Big J and Little J (Jeff and Julius) came into my apartment this morning eager to fix all of the issues that we were having. Jeff and Julius are the new maintenance supervisors. They worked efficiently and in a matter of about an hour or so were able to obtain all parts and replacements needed and fix… all of the issues we were experiencing. They were very respectful and extremely attentive to these maintenance needs. I feel very satisfied with the work they completed and how they went about completing it. Huge shoutout to Jeff and Julius they were awesome!

Constant Water Damage and Rat Infestation

Since I have resided at Zachary Parkside, my apartment has sustained water damage on six separate occasions. On one occasion, I came home to my ceiling pouring water from the upstairs unit into the kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. I rushed to the front office for help only to be told there was nothing they could do. I have bubbles in the paint on my walls from all the water damage and my carpet has an awful smell. On top of all of that, rats have chewed holes in the walls which… maintenance did nothing to resolve the issue and water constantly leaks through the walls in the garage.

Pets

It doesn’t mention it anywhere on this page, but Zachary Parkside has a reptile restriction for pets. So if you have any type of reptile as a pet it is not allowed. I was heartbroken to hear this, but there are plenty of better options in Baton Rouge that don’t require you to limit the pets you would like to keep. I encourage anyone that has reptiles looking at these apartments to keep looking elsewhere.

CREEPY APARTMENTS

I have been a resident at this place. NO PRIVACY AT ALL. The employees used to enter my apartment without even knocking the door!!! despite my several complains, they kept entering without warning. I had to block the door with a chair to not allow them to enter my apartment. TOTAL IGNORANCE. I will never come back to this place. i

Zachary Parkside Apartments

I was afraid to
Find out that my boyfriend and I would have to move outside Baton Rouge. Zachary Parkside was extremely helpful during the transition. Living here is peaceful and tranquil expecially with such easy access to the park. The office mangers take care of problems the same day they are reported; including some dubious behavior (typical )from children. I love it here!
