Management is great!

I’ve had a really positive experience living here so far. Management is always helpful and easy to communicate with, and the maintenance team is super friendly and quick whenever anything is needed. The location is also really convenient, especially being close to bus stops and UMass. Special shoutout to Zaiell and Enisa for always being so welcoming and helpful!

Best management staff!!

Zaiell and Enisa in management are always really helpful, profesional and cordial. They make sure to take care of whatever is needed for tenants and have really positive attitudes.

Look elsewhere

The two main issues are the management and the condition of the apartments. Some apartments are newer, but the ones that are not are still quite expensive, even though you may deal with mice infestation, ceiling tiles that are falling apart, holes in the walls, etc. They are liveable apartments and the location is okay but it’s a bit frustrating dealing with the new management. For example, people steal packages and in an attempt to help the situation they announced to everyone that the cameras... outside the buildings do not work. If you can afford to, I would look elsewhere.

beware the new management

I've lived in The Boulders since 2016. Early in 2022, NBM bought the property. They are truly ruining the place. They've laid off most of the maintenance staff and very basic problems remain unaddressed for days, weeks, even months. They have a high turnover rate in office staff, so that it's impossible for residents to develop a good rapport with management (I feel this is by design). And they're making cosmetic adjustments to units and then raising rent by $700+ -- never mind that what really... makes for a good living experience isn't new fixtures, but consistent customer service and a well-maintained property. It's a cliché of internet reviewing, but if I could rate The Boulders 0/5, I would.
