Review of Lakeview Gardens

I have been there for a year and haven't been disappointed yet. Leeloo n Kevin from the office are very helpful. Especially Leeloo she ensure that whatever the issue is dealt with, with urgency.

Avoid This Place....It’s a Disaster!!

Living here has gone completely downhill. Since FirstService took over, it’s been clear they have no clue how to manage an apartment community. I’d never even heard of them before, and now I see why; this seems like a one-off property for them, and they are completely out of their depth.

They’ve managed to lose or terminate every competent staff member and replaced them with people who seem to have no training or knowledge of how to run a residential property. The only bright spot is the… seasoned maintenance team, but even they can only do their jobs if the property manager decides he likes you.

Speaking of the manager: unresponsive, unprofessional, and apparently sets his own hours. Good luck getting a call or email returned. There’s no communication from the office anymore! No updates, no notices about snow removal, winter prep, or anything that would make you feel like someone’s managing the place. It’s radio silence.

There are zero amenities here. None. But that hasn’t stopped them from hiking the rent while people move out in droves. They are nowhere near the level of the nicer, updated communities nearby, but they keep raising prices like they’re luxury apartments. Spoiler: they’re not.

I don’t know where they found this manager or management company, but they are clearly not qualified. Save yourself the headache. I’m out the second my lease ends, and I suggest you run, too.

The worst place ever

It is a type of place that you are disrespected and yelled at if you try to resolve things. They increase rent and add fees all over for nothing. They will tow you car if you are not home and you will have to pay $200 to get it back

Rent adjustments are determined by market conditions… and are not within the property manager's control. We strive to ensure our rates remain competitive and reflective of the local housing market.

Please note that vehicles are only towed when they are parked in unauthorized spaces. This measure is taken to ensure that all residents have access to their designated parking spots. We understand that this situation was distressing.

Regarding the towing fees, we understand your frustration. Towing fees are indeed regulated by the state and determined by the towing company, and unfortunately, we don’t have control over those costs. We'll do our best to ensure clearer communication regarding this matter in the future.

We strive to maintain a high level of professionalism and respect in all interactions. The claims regarding unprofessional behavior are inaccurate and not reflective of our standards. We encourage direct communication to resolve any issues, and any allegations of misconduct are taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.
