I stayed here for a summer internship, and the pricing is absolutely insane for the quality of the building. The amount of roaches, water bugs, and ants this building is deeply unsettling. The mailing system is very unorganized, the windows rattle when cars drive by, and there’s no ceiling lighting. This apartment has potential but they’re too busy remodeling than genuinely fixing their internal problems (something as simple as bugs). It doesn’t matter how flashy your light fixtures are when... bugs live everywhere in your building. Seek housing some place else, if I knew it was this bad, I would have never lived here. So happy my lease was only 2 months. Now I’m fearful to live in any other apartment.

Too expensive
i just graduated from social work school and i wish i knew more about the city than what i knew because this place is so expensive for what it is!!!
and the front desk staff seemed annoyed by me when i had questions

Fayette Square
This is the perfect building if you're a UMD grad student who's looking for a safe and secure place to live that is within close proximity to the UMD graduate campuses (e.g. law, dentistry, nursing, social work, etc). Filled with tons of study spaces for those late nights, as well as laundry/dryers, fully-furnished apartments, elevators, and even a gym. Oh, and a plus: It's PET-FRIENDLY! I love living in this building and having both affordability and convenience in one apartment as a grad... student! Hope you'll love it, too! :)
